Family Camp is one of the four operating camps within the Ten Mile River Scout Reservation. TMR is located in Sullivan County New York. At over 12,000 acres in size and 81 years of age Ten Mile River is one of the largest and oldest Boy Scout reservations in the United States. Ten Mile River is owned and operated by the Greater New York Councils BSA. The four camps currently operating within TMR are Family Camp, Camp Ranachqua, Camp Keowa and Camp Aquehonga.
Friends of Family Camp is a group of people who have volunteered their time rebuilding the cabins and structures within Family Camp, maintaining the property the camp is situated on and promoting Family Camp to scouting oriented families.
We are looking for new members to join us.
There are no membership fees to join. There are no annual dues. We are seeking like minded people who would like to see Family Camp grow and remain operating for many years to come.
